Math and Economics Teacher

Job duties

​Provide personalized academic support in subjects such as algebra, calculus, statistics, microeconomics, and macroeconomics; explain complex concepts clearly, assisting with homework and test preparation; help students develop problem-solving and analytical skills; adapt lessons to each student’s level and monitor progress to improve understanding and performance.  

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in math, economics, or business, or a related field, or foreign equivalent, and either providing academic instruction to students in math or grading math exams and assessing courses as part of the bachelor’s degree program, or having one month of experience, pre or post-bachelor’s degree, in the job offered or in providing academic instruction to students in math or grading math exams and assessing courses.

Travel

​Several times a month for day trips throughout Massachusetts to visit students and schools, attend meetings and events.

Hours:   40 - 45/week
